It is amazing what you can learn about a person when you really take the time to get to know them. Often, people will introduce themselves or begin a conversation by asking what the other person does for a living. Of course, our profession is a big and important part of our life, but it doesn't define who we are as individuals. I believe who we are is defined by more then what we call our job. Our identity is wrapped around what we are most passionate about in life. For some, it is a hobby or sport. For others it is a significant other or being part of a family. For me, it is music.
My name is Jenna Ryckman: an Inbound Marketing Specialist for Improvizations by day and a musician by night! Performing and writing music is what I am most passionate about. You can hear some of my original music by visiting JennaRenae.com. Recently, I had the opportunity to appear on the show America’s Got Talent! It was an amazing experience to be able to perform in front of a live audience and the celebrity judges. I was voted through the first round with four yes’s (although it wasn’t televised), but unfortunately did not make it through the second round, which is called Judge Cuts.

One of the most important lessons you learn from being a musician is the importance of knowing or connecting with your audience. Music is powerful. It can make people laugh, cry, reflect, or even jump out of their seat and start dancing. I have always believed that music has the power to change people’s lives.
In order for an audience to connect with you, it is often important to tell them something about yourself, or to build a connection with them. The more people feel they have in common with you, the stronger your connection. A mutually beneficial relationship is built where the artist gives music and vulnerability, while the audience gives their attention and support.
The wonderful world of business and marketing is all that different from the world of music. Here at Improvizations, we do our absolute best to host a blog that is extremely relevant and helpful to you, our readers. Now that you know a little bit about me, I would love to get to know you a little bit better. We would love to know who is reading our blog and why! In order to create the best content possible for the Kronos Guy Blog, we want to understand your concerns and interests about Workforce Management.
Below we have a short, 6-question survey. I would appreciate it so much if you would take the time to fill it out. Everyone who completes the survey will be entered to win a $25 dollar Amazon gift card!
