The Kronos Training Plan in Detail - An Introduction

Written by Dwain Lambrigger | Oct 20, 2010

In a recent white paper, attention was drawn to the importance of a training plan in your Workforce Timekeeper implementation, and training program. In fact, the importance of this plan can't be minimized. It is the "the sacred scroll of your training program; alright, maybe a religious analogy may not fit here. Really, it should be thought of as a blueprint, providing a detailed view of the entire program, as well as the information necessary to manage it.

The white paper is titled Building an Appropriate Kronos Training Plan Using the Five Question Method. It focuses on the information that is needed for a training plan; by exploring five primary questions: Who, What, Where, When and How.

Although these five questions don't cover all of the information required in a training plan, they do go a long way. In the next set of blog entries, we will discuss, in more detail, the physical requirements of a training plan, why they are important, and what should be included.

Good luck with your training implementation!
